Rebecca and Theodore

Bespoke floral arch and outdoor reception table set against the vineyard at Monverde Hotel, Portugal

Rebecca and Theodore OCTOBER 2025 It was fall, the end of October, and the weather in Portugal was all about rain. But not for their two-day wedding celebration. The skies cleared for them, and we saw perfectly crisp, sunny days. Abundant flowers, striking colors, and so much energy. Every detail of their ceremony was built with pure intention. The bride carried a modern, sculptural bouquet that beautifully complemented her elegance. As evening fell, everyone gathered around a single, long family table to dine under the stars, right beside the vineyard. We had peonies in October, and they were the most beautiful blooms we could have asked for! Stunning roses, blushing anthuriums, and perfect dahlias. It was our last wedding of 2025, and we could never have wished for a better way to end the season. Alexandra and Raphaël

Close-up of a minimalist and elongated bridal bouquet featuring sculptural white and pink anthuriums, hydrangeas, and trailing green amaranthus. Bespoke spring floral design for a destination wedding at Quinta do Outeiro by Mande uma Flor.

Alexandra and Raphaël May 2025 The bride is Portuguese, the groom is French, and their wedding cake was brie cheese, served with honey and champagne during the cocktail hour. Raphaël and Alexandra’s wedding took place in the Douro Valley at Quinta do Outeiro, just across the river, with vineyards and ancient olive trees surrounding every scene. The flower design chosen were hydrangeas, anthuriums, and amaranthus, complemented by seasonal flowers such as peonies, since it was a spring wedding. Alexandra envisioned a tall, elongated, minimalist bouquet, a sculptural statement that contrasted beautifully with the rich textures of her dress. At dinnertime, the couple’s table, shared with family and the bridal party, featured a sculptural ground arrangement, thoughtfully balanced to illuminate their seats with detail. The celebration continued in a separate room, where candles were left to burn low into the night, their warmth blending seamlessly with the glow of the chandeliers. Renata and Murilo

Renata and Murilo May 2025 At the iconic Palácio do Freixo, Renata and Murilo gathered their closest family and friends for the third chapter of their love story. After an intimate courthouse ceremony and a heartfelt family celebration in their home country, this destination wedding in Portugal became the culminating expression of their journey — a celebration layered with meaning, heritage, and intention. A palette of white and green connected all three moments. Timeless and understated, yet reimagined through a contemporary lens. Rather than leaning into tradition, we embraced fluidity: organic floral compositions, sculptural pillars framing the ceremony, and the river as a poetic backdrop There was also a deeply personal thread running through every detail. Renata’s grandmother, Portuguese and born across the river in Vila Nova de Gaia, inspired a meaningful tribute. Carrying the surname Oliveira, she was honored through a thoughtfully crafted arrangement. The dinner followed the same design choices, incorporating green apples and grapes alongside a large and lush floral selection. We celebrated spring with sweet peas, lilies of the valley, butterfly ranunculus, viburnum, tulips, and much more, with just a tropical touch — adding anthuriums and orchids to embrace the Brazilian roots, blending continents in a composition that felt both elegant and deeply personal. Alexus and Greg

Destination wedding at Quinta de São Bernardo, in the Douro Valley, Portugal with floral design by Mande uma Flor.

Alexus and Greg SEPTEMBER 2025 Alexus and Greg’s wedding day took place in the heart of the Douro Valley, at Quinta de São Bernardo — a winery and farmhouse by the river, surrounded by a truly unique landscape. We designed sculptural arrangements for the ceremony to contrast with the natural beauty of the estate. The bridal bouquet featured anthuriums, orchids, and amaranthus, complemented by seasonal flowers. September marks vindimas in the Douro — the poetic season when grapes are harvested and destined to become wine. The reception location could not have been more timely, set just beneath the vines filled with ripe grapes. Arrangements in different sizes, paired with bud vases and candles, completed the scenery. The saxophonist led guests from dinner to the party indoors, with espresso martinis in hand. “It’s hard to pick a favorite moment from our wedding weekend, but this might be it,” said the bride.
