I have been around flowers and nature since childhood, surrounded with the abundance of my grandmother’s garden and her passion for flowers and plants. I always say she had a lot of everything she loved: cushions on the sofa, roses, anthuriums, and orchids filling every corner of the house. To me, she was magic.
It took time to understand what flowers truly meant to me. After I moved away for college, I started to became a regular on this local flower shop in that new town. Stepping inside felt like holding fragments of my past, it was familiar, grounding and intimate. After my grandmother passed away, I began to understand that flowers were more than nostalgia. They were language. Memory. Presence. And slowly, they became purpose.
Photography shaped the way I see the world, through light, composition, detail. That attention to detail helps me remember which flowers are in season and constantly search for nuance: an unexpected tone, a rare texture, a silhouette I have never seen before.
As a child, I designed bridal bouquets for my Barbies and built imagined homes in the treetops with my friends, convinced that anything we envisioned could become real. That sense of wonder never left. It lives in every design I create.
As a wedding florist, my design process begins with listening. I seek to understand how you wish to feel, how you want your story to be seen, and how beauty can translate emotion. I focus less on precise stem counts and more on atmosphere, on movement, proportion, and the way flowers inhabit a space. It is intentional, personal, bespoke, and trusted on the season.

Mande uma Flor was founded eight years ago, but life had different plans and after moving countries, restarted in 2020, and is now based in Porto. What began as an online flower shop evolved into a studio dedicated exclusively to weddings and events, a space where floral design meets storytelling.
A few years later, Vinicius joined the business, bringing structure to my intuition. He is the balance behind the scenes. Refining systems, perfecting logistics, and yes, creating the most impeccable spreadsheets. Together, we have built this studio with dedication and care, growing thoughtfully, refining and approaching each wedding as an opportunity to elevate our work.
As a couple, we never imagined ourselves getting married. I always believed we would travel and elope somewhere in the mountains. But after witnessing so many love stories and getting emotional with our couples, we decided to gather all our favorite people and celebrate. And now, I understand weddings and my work so much more deeply. I wish, over and over again, for all couples to truly enjoy the entire process. It is one of the most special days of your life, and you can count on us, we will make sure the flowers are everything you dreamed of, too.
